Beach Body Fitness Coach Status

After 2 months of trying my first Beach Body Challenge, ChaLEAN Extreme, I've lost 14 pounds and 4 inches. I'm super excited and want to share it with everyone! I have just signed up to become a Beach Body Fitness Coach.

My Previous Fitness Experiences

I have always worked out every day for the last 4 years. I would workout about an hour to an hour and a half a day 7 days a week. It took a ton of time and I was always trying to do both cardio and strength training. 

My Busy Life

Being a mother of 4, a makeup artist, esthetician, blogger and YouTuber, it's always been a struggle trying to fit in my workouts and still take care of my other responsibilities. I agreed to try this challenge when a friend suggested it to me as a way to get in my workouts in less time and get better results. I absolutely loved being able to do my workouts 5 times a week in a half hour and I have seen huge results. I have so much more energy, a huge increase in muscle definition, stamina and have lost wieght and inches.

ChaLEAN Extreme

The challenge that I decided on is called ChaLEAN Extreme and it focuses on strength training to build lean muscle. Building lean muscle increases your metabolism by 60% and because of this you need less cardio. For 30 minutes 5 times a week, I strength train like an athlete. The workouts are listed by day in the Muscle Burns Fat Guide Book that you receive with the challenge kit. It really takes the guess work out of how much cardio to do and how much strength training to do.
The challenge pack was only $89.95 and I got 15 workouts, the guide book and 5 free gifts. The free gifts were the Ab Burner Workout, Extreme Abs Workout, Fat-Burning Food Guide, Pro-Grade Resistance Band and Thigh Toner Band.
The challenge is broke up into 3 months:
Month 1: BURN You start lifting weights to jump-start your metabolism and break down fat reserves. These are moderate training workouts that focus on both the upper and lower body. In this phase I felt stronger every day. The behind idea seeing the results was that each excercise consisted of  12 reps but they were super-slow reps. I was using my muscle all the way up slow and all the way down slow. Lifting weights fast just allows you to use momentum. Not in this challenge.

Month 2: PUSH This month you turn things up a notch. You increase the weights your lifting and the reps go down to only 8 slow reps. This phase really has you lifting heavy and pushing you out of your comfort zone. You build the muscle you need to burn fat and I really saw results by the end of this phase. I was down 14 pounds and 2 inches. I also saw a huge increase in muscle definition.

Month 3: LEAN I'm just starting this phase but this phase is really where you bring it home. The new routines are literally going to melt the fat off your body. 

3 Extreme Cardio Workouts: I hate cardio so I'm glad there's only 3 of these. These workouts are built where you're doing burn intervals. You're working really hard for a few minutes and then you rest and do it again. One of them has you switching back and forth between burn intervals and muscle endurance. It's pretty cool. So you're resting but while resting you're lifting.

I paid $89.95 for this but my gym membership is $20. So in 3 months I would have spent $60 at the gym but there's no guarantee at the gym. I've been doing the gym thing for 4 years and never seen results. I just maintained fit. The challenge pack comes with a guarantee. After 30 days, if you haven't seen results, you can send it back and get a refund. I have seen huge results with this and it was definitly worth the $89.95 to finally have a solution to what to do when and to save the time I've saved. I'd also surely pay $89.95 to lose 14 pounds and 4 inches. That's crazy because I wasn't really overweight to begin with so that makes it harder to lose weight.

I would seriously recommend this to any busy person that wants to see huge results by doing short workouts 5 days a week.
